Beaches on Skye
Skye's beaches are not sunbathing beaches. They are white shell sand, black volcanic sand and a long walk out to a lighthouse — worth going for the colour of the water and the walk to reach it rather than for the swim. Every one of them is open to whatever the Atlantic is doing, and all of them are better on a bright day with the tide out.
