Privacy

No cookies, no advertising, nothing sold or shared. We count visits so we know which parts of the site are useful, and that is all.

What we record

We use Umami, running on our own server rather than an analytics company's. For each visit it records:

What we don't

Nothing is stored on your device to track you — no cookies, and nothing in your browser's storage. Your IP address is not kept: it is used for a moment to work out your country and to make a visitor code that changes every day, so a visit today can't be linked to one tomorrow, or to you.

The site does keep a copy of itself in your browser so it opens quickly and still shows the last forecast when the signal drops. That is the app, not tracking, and clearing your browser's data for this site removes it.

Opting out

Turn on Do Not Track in your browser and nothing is recorded. A content blocker will usually stop it too.

Who else sees your visit

Like any website, a few services handle your requests and so see your IP address. None of them receive anything from our analytics.

Questions

Email [email protected]. Because nothing we record identifies you, we generally can't find "your" records to show or delete — but ask, and we'll tell you what we can.
